Meet Wendi Clapp, PA-C, a compassionate and dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Women’s Health, and Lifestyle Medicine. Wendi practices at Kuakini Family Health, Ka’u Family Health, and the School-Based Health Center at Konawaena, where she brings a deep commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.
With six months of experience in healthcare and a background from Creighton University School of Medicine, Wendi is passionate about helping individuals understand their health and ensuring everyone has access to quality care. Having lived in Hawaii since 2015 she is excited to work in community health, where she can focus on health education and empowering people to improve their well-being.
Wendi’s approach to medicine is rooted in the belief that every person’s humanity should be valued, and she is dedicated to creating a supportive, inclusive environment for all of her patients. She has a special interest in providing informed, compassionate care to the LGBTQIA+ community, especially transgender individuals, as well as to teens, youth, and the Micronesian population.
Outside of work, Wendi enjoys being outdoors—whether it’s hiking, camping, diving, or kayaking. She is thrilled to serve her community and looks forward to partnering with you on your health journey, offering personalized care and guidance to help you achieve your wellness goals.
